Heartbreaks for Bangladesh, England won by 22 runs

England have snatched a 22-run victory from clutch of Tigers breaking the millions of hearts of cricket lovers in the first Test of a two-match series in Chittagong on Monday.

The visitors took the remaining two wickets of the hosts in three deliveries off Ben Stokes in the fourth over of the first session of the fifth and final day.

With the victory, England have won all their nine Tests against Bangladesh. They are now leading the 2-match series by 1-.0.

Bangladesh began batting on 253/8 trailing only 33 runs of the victory mark. Sabbir Rahman who was unbeaten on 59 and Taijul Islam 11 started well. However, it was Ben Stokes who broke the hearts of the Bangladesh supporters in 3 deliveries of fourth over of the day making Taijul and Shafiqu Islam prey of LBW.

Sabbir couldn`t do anything but watch the defeat from the other end remaining unbeaten on 64.

The second and final match of the series will be held on October 28 in Dhaka.
