BNP Chairperson Khaleda got bails in eight sabotage cases

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia got bails in eight sabotage cases and a sedition case filed for her controversial remarks over the number of martyrs of liberation war in 1971.

Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court granted the bails on Wednesday noon.

The court, however, took cognisance charges against the BNP chief in the sedition case.

The eight sabotage cases were filed with Darus Salam Police Station in the capital while the sedition case was lodged in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court.
